South Western Air Command IAF Recruitment 2021: Headquarters South Western Air Command, Indian Air Force (IAF) has issued employment notification for recruitment of Civilian Group 'C' vacancy posts such as Multi Tasking Staff (MTS), House Keeping Staff (HKS), Mess Staff, Laundryman, Cook, Carpenter, Painter, Vulcaniser and Lower Division Clerk (LDC). The last date of receipt of application is 30 days from the date of advertisement in Employment News Paper dated 20th February 2021.

✅ Educational Qualifications:

✔️ MTS: Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized University or Board.

✔️ HKS: Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized University or Board.

✔️ Mess Staff: Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized University or Board. Desirable: One year of experience as Waiter for Washer up from an Organization or Institute.

✔️ Laundryman: Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized University or Board. Desirable: One year of experience as Dhobi from an Organization or Institute.

✔️ Cook: Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized University or Board with a certificate or diploma in catering. 01 year experience in the trade.

✔️ Carpenter: 10th pass with Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Certificate in the trade of Carpenter from a recognized institute. (OR) Ex-Servicemen in appropriate trade viz. Carpenter Rigger.

✔️ Painter: 10th pass with Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Certificate in the trade of Painter from a recognized institute. (OR) Ex-Servicemen in appropriate trade viz. Carpenter Rigger.

✔️ Vuclaniser: Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized University or Board.

✔️ LDC: 12th Class OR equivalent qualification from recognized Board or university. A Typing speed of 30 words per minute in English on manual typewriter OR A typing steed of 30 words per minutes in English on Computer (35 words per minute correspond to 10500).

✔️ Fireman: (i) Matriculation or equivalent qualification from a recognized board / university .(ii) Must have undergone training in Fire Fighting under a state fire service or a recognized institution of repute.(iii) Must be conversant with the use and maintenance of all types of extinguishers, Hose Fitting and Fire appliances and equipments like fire  Engine, Trailer Fire Pumps and Foam Branches.(iv) Must be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties and must  have passed the test specified in Note-1 below OREx-serviceman of appropriate trade.

✅ How to Apply: Eligible candidate can apply to any of the Air Force Station of their choice subject to the vacancies and qualifications. Application duly typed in English/ Hindi as per the format given below duly completed with recent passport size photo graph duly attested by self pasted thereon are to be submitted  bythe candidates to the address as mentioned at para-2 above. Applications are invited by the respective engagingauthorities as shown in the annexure ‘I’against each post, from eligible candidates for the selection and engagement to the following postsof Gramin Dak Sevaks.I.Job Profile:- (i)BRANCH POSTMASTER (BPM)The Job Profile of Branch Post Master will include managing affairs of BranchPost Office, India Posts Payments Bank (IPPB)and ensuring uninterrupted counter operation during the prescribed working hours using the handheld device/Smartphone/laptopsupplied by the Department. The overall management of postal facilities, maintenanceof records, upkeep of handheld device/laptop/equipmentensuring online transactions, and marketing of Postal, India Post Payments Bank services and procurement of business in the villages or Gram Panchayats within the jurisdiction of the Branch Post Office should rest on the shoulders of Branch Postmasters. However,the work performed for IPPB will not be included in calculation of TRCA, since the same is being done on incentive basis.Branch Postmaster will be the team leader of theBranchPost Office and overall responsibility of smooth and timely functioning of Post Office including mail conveyance and mail delivery. He/she might be assisted by Assistant Branch Post Master of the same Branch Post Office. BPM will be required to do combined duties of ABPMsas and when ordered. He will also be required to do marketing, organizing melas, business procurement and any other work assigned by IPO/ASPO/SPOs/SSPOs/SRM/SSRM and other Supervising authorities.In some of the Branch Post Offices, the BPM has to do all the work of BPM/ABPM.(ii)ASSISTANT BRANCH POSTMASTER (ABPM) The Job Profile of Assistant Branch Post Master will include all functions of sale of stamps/stationery, conveyance and Delivery of mail at doorstep deposits/payments/other transactions under IPPB, assisting Branch Postmasters in counter duties using the handheld device/Smart phone supplied by the Department. My mobile was stolen and I raised a complaint about it. The police are not taking action. How can I find out my mobile without the police department’s help?

If you are using an Android device, then your mail ID is linked to the lost phone. Now, an amazing feature of Google - Find Your Phone - helps users to find the location of phone and do much more - ring it, lock it, erase it etc - without any intervention of LEAs. You can use the feature to find the lost phone location without the intervention of police. The steps have been detailed below.

It helps the owner find his/ her lost phone by following few simple steps.

1. Navigate to Sign in - Google Accounts

2. Tap on right facing arrow
3. Enter your password

What are the Different Methods to Secure the Phone?

1. Ring your phone: This feature makes the phone ring at full volume even if muted.
2. Locate your phone: This feature collects the location data from the device and sends it to the owner. However, the location is approximate and may not always be accurate.
3. Lock Your Phone: This option enables the owner to setup a password to lock the phone. Owner can also write a customised note for the finder. The default note is “This phone is lost. Please help give it back”. Owner can also specify a phone number for the finder to call on, along with the aforesaid message.
4. Sign Out of Your Phone: This option prevents others from accessing the phone data. Even after signing out of the phone, owner can – Ring, locate, lock or erase the device.
5. Contact your operator: The operator may help by - Disabling the SIM card, ordering a new SIM card or redirecting the calls to a new number. This also helps prevent identity theft since the finder can otherwise use the personal information for wrong ends.
6. Erase Your Device: In our opinion this is the “Option of the last resort”. This option prevents others from seeing the device data. However, if the owner chooses to erase the device information the owner permanently loses access to all of the information on that device that wasn’t backed up with Google.

The phone is erased only when it comes online the next time. If it doesn’t come online, it can’t be erased. Features like “Find your phone” and “Android Device Manager “may no longer work to locate, ring or lock the phone.
