Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Govt of India, 9, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, New Delhi - 110002 is inviting on-line applications from the ELIGIBLE individuals for filling up of vacancies in the following posts by DIRECT RECRUITMENT at BIS Headquarters, New Delhi and BIS Offices located in the country
Group C
Stenographer
Pay Scale: Level 4 (Rs.25500-81100)
Maximum age limit: 27 years
No. of vacancies: 17(UR-08 EWS-03, SC-01, ST-02, OBC-03)
Qualification: (i) Bachelors Degree from a recognized University;
(ii) Computer Proficiency Test: The candidate should be proficient at
least upto Level-5 of National Skill Qualification Framework. The test
shall be qualifying in nature; and
(iii) Shorthand Test: English/Hindi Shorthand test at the speed of
eighty words per minute which the candidates shall have to transcribe on
Computer in fifty or sixty five minutes, respectively. Visually
disabled candidates having disability of forty percent and above will be
required to transcribe the matter in seventy minutes for English
shorthand test and in ninety minutes for Hindi shorthand test.
