High Court of Punjab and Haryana (S.S.S.C.) Chandigarh Recruitment of
Stenographer Grade-III for filling up 239 Vacancy positions. High Court
of Punjab and Haryana on behalf of the District and Sessions Judges of
the State of Punjab invites online applications from eligible candidates
only for the Steno Grade-III, last date for registration of online
application is 23rd January 2018.
EMPLOYMENT NOTICE NO. 23S/SSSC/PB/2017
Age Limit: 18 to 37 Years for General, 18 to 42
Years for SC of Punjab & BC / OBC of Punjab. 10 Years Relaxation for
Ex-servicemen of Punjab, For others as per Rules.
Pay Scale: Grade-III ₹ 5910-20200 + ₹ 2800/- Grade Pay in the Subordinate Courts of Punjab. (Rs.25,000/- + other allowances)
Educational Qualification:
(1) Minimum Graduate Degree (Bachelor of Arts BA or Bachelor of Science B.Sc) or equivalent qualification from a Govt. Recognized University (And)
(2) Computer Knowledge - Must have proficiency in operation of Computers (Word Processing and Spread Sheets).
(3) He/she should have passed 10th class examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subject or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi Language, which may be specified by the Government from time to time. Examination Fee (A Non-refundable): ₹ 1000/- for General and Other state candidates, ₹ 250/- for SC/ BC/ OBC/ ESM of State of Punjab, ₹ 500/- for PHC of Punjab (General), ₹ 125/- for PHC of Punjab (SC/ BC/ OBC/ ESM). The applicants have to deposit the requisite fee by way of 'Cash Deposit Receipt', printed after completion of Step-I of registration, in any branch of State Bank of India only.
Selection Process: English Shorthand Test and Computer Proficiency Test. The candidates will have to qualify the English Shorthand Test and its Transcription at the speed of 80 W.P.M. and 20 W.P.M. respectively. The candidates will also have to qualify a Computer Proficiency Test. (word processing and spreadsheets). The examination is likely to be conducted in the month of March/ April, 2018.
How to Apply: Eligible Candidates should have apply online through SSSC Recruitment Portal. The Online Registration have two steps. The applicant may register for Step-I from 25/12/2017 up to 23/01/2018 11:59 P.M. Thereafter, Step-I Registration will be closed. The applicant, who completes Step-I registration, should go to Bank for deposit of fee after 24 hours from the time of Registration Step-I. However, the requisite fee can be deposited up to 25.01.2018 within Banking Hours only. Last date/time for completing the registration Step-II is 27/01/2018 up to 11:59 P.M.
